Booties are made from Portuguese imported cork, are vegetable dyed, lined with premium earth-friendly Cotton Teddy fur (Made in Italy) with a soft eco-lux fabric backing to ensure no blisters or rubbing occur during wear. Elastic has been tightened and booties fit best without socks, boots are designed to regulate heat during climate conditions (keep cold in summer and hot during winter) therefore barefoot is preferred.
It has similar durability and feel to animal leather but is vegan friendly, our brand is also PETA-certified Vegan. As a bonus, cork has natural anti-mildew/anti-bacterial qualities. Vegetable based dyes and fair labor laws are used in making this cork.
